Getting from Point A to Point B can become increasingly difficult for aging adults. Fortunately, Tennessee’s aging population has access to transportation options that promote independence while meeting their unique needs. Here are just a few:
- MYRide TN: A volunteer-based program providing senior-friendly transportation services.
- GoGo Grandparent: Offering rides, delivery, housekeeping, and more in all 50 states, Canada, and Australia.
- Independent Transportation Network (ITN), Memphis: Rides for seniors and adults in Memphis who are blind or have low vision.
- Senior Ride Nashville: Membership-based service connecting older adults in Davidson County with trained drivers.
- STAYinTV: An “Aging in Place” initiative in Tellico Village, helping seniors stay in their homes while maintaining mobility.
