This page helps people and families with non-emergency crises. It gives support for handling tough situations that are not emergencies. You will find tips for staying calm, links to helpful services, and information about dealing with both intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and mental health issues. This page will help you manage non-emergency crises with care and confidence.

  • TN START Clinical Education Team (CET)  provides crisis response, stabilization services, and resource connections for individuals with IDD and mental health needs, helping families and providers navigate emergencies and promote long-term support.
