- Tennessee Justice Center – If you are having problems with your TennCare or other public benefits programs applications or have been denied due to discrimination, call TJC for free assistance.

- HHS.gov Office of Civil Rights – Protecting the Rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI+) People: OCR is the law enforcement agency within HHS that is responsible for guaranteeing that people are free from discrimination based on race, color, national origin (including primary language), disability, age, religion, and sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity) by certain health care and human services.
- Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people, and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education, and public policy work.
